In the initial phase of designing the Suzuki Configurator, we conducted a series of insightful user interviews to better understand the diverse needs and preferences of our target audience. Through these interviews, we gained valuable insights into the users' decision-making processes, their expectations from a car customisation tool, and the key features that would enhance their overall experience.

The user journey, depicted in the accompanying image, encapsulates the seamless transformation from initial discovery to the joy of personalized car selection.

 

Users start with a smooth onboarding, navigating effortlessly through intuitive design elements. As they progress, the configurator's dynamic features empower users to experiment with various options, ensuring a tailored and visually engaging experience. Mapping a Complete User Journey

In our pursuit of creating an exceptional car configurator for Suzuki, the Affinity Map and "How Might We" (HMW) Questions exercise played a pivotal role in shaping our design strategy. The attached image illustrates the collaborative efforts to categorize user insights and distill them into actionable themes.

 

This facilitated a deeper understanding of user pain points, desires, and expectations. The HMW questions, strategically generated from these insights, provided a roadmap for addressing key challenges. This process not only guided our design decisions but also fueled a creative momentum, ensuring that every aspect of the Suzuki Car Configurator was purposeful and tailored to meet the diverse needs of our users.
